- To treat low glucocorticoid levels caused by disease of the adrenal gland (e.g., Addison’s disease, adrenocortical insufficiency, salt-losing adrenogenital syndrome)
- To maintain normal blood pressure
- Reduce inflammation in the body
100 – 200 mcg once daily or as directed by Physician

Fludrocortisone is used in the treatment of Addison’s disease and congenital adrenal hyperplasia.

Fludrocortisone is a steroid medicine. It works by decreasing the amount of sodium that is removed through urine.
