In the first few months’s the baby’s skin is developing. For the initial 6 to 12 weeks baby’s skin goes through various skin issues like acne, dryness, itching, and patches. Apart from being soft, it is extremely sensitive and 30% thinner than that of adults, making it more vulnerable to damage. It loses moisture 5 times faster than that of an adult and hence is more prone to dryness. Hence, it needs to be constantly nourished to ensure its healthy development.
